This is a fun posting that I’ve seen on various social media sites: Tiny Libraries.
The Little Free Libraries Project shows that stories and books are still seen as important in our society and as something that should be available to all.

If you go through the photos, you will be amazed by the artful constructions that people have made to house books in the great outdoors.  Everything from phone booths to little bird houses hanging from tree branches have been used to make a Little Free Library.

This would be a fantastic art project to do in a school to highlight a literacy-themed month or week.  Why not create some Little Free Libraries in your school yard and/or on every floor in your school using donated books or weeded books from your library?
