So in exploring a variety of apps for literacy and library use, I came across this ABC app called Endless Alphabet. I am in love! Aside for my love of all things monster related, this has it all : beautiful colours, interactive touch sensitive animation, great kid friendly sound effects, and I may have already mentioned the super loveable monsters.
This app is great for those learning their ABC’s. It is great for learning the sounds of the letters and learning how to spell but don’t be surprised if your students start pronouncing their letters in funny monster voices- it’s contagious!
It is also helpful for those wanting to practice or learn new words. One of the neat things about this app is it doesn’t use easy words like cat or dog. It challenges children with such words as musician, but also includes some easier words like lick.
So I encourage you to check Endless Alphabet out, you and your students will be smiling and giggling before you know it!
Endless Alphabet is not a free app but it costs very little (a couple of dollars) and its worth it!!
