There has been a lot of research published discussing how students are not developing the information literacy skills needed to function at either university or in the workforce. These are not easy skills to teach but it is important that we try to introduce them to these skills at a young age. It is also important that we provide them with many opportunities to practice these skills, in a variety of contexts with a variety of subjects. We have been working on an online toolkit to help make this educational process easier for librarians, educators, students and parents.

Our toolkit includes an easy to remember research or inquiry process model along with a bunch of cool online tools, videos, lesson plans, printables and app suggestions. Have a look and let us know what you think! And if there is anything you think we have forgotten let us know!
