Closing Keynote Kathy Conroy

The Magic of Makerspaces

3:05 – 4:00 PM

Looking for a way to have the students run into the library? Makerspaces are the answer! Making should be one of the pillars of your library mission statement.  Students who take part in makerspace activities develop many skills – creativity, problem-solving, collaboration and most importantly critical thinking skills. This interactive session will look at easy and budget friendly ideas to start (or add to) a makerspace in your library as an extracurricular activity or as part of the curriculum.
