Opening Keynote Kathy Conroy

8:45 – 10:00 AM

Breaking down the walls: creating meaningful relationships to enhance the library experience for your users.

The heart of the school should be the library.  This is the place where students come together to learn, to read, to be inspired, to be creative and to become collaborators.  In order to create a space that embraces all these missives, collaboration is essential between all the stakeholders in the building as well as the community at large.  The positive relationships you build with your teachers, staff, administration, students and board employees will make your library come alive.

This keynote will offer reasons why collaboration is essential and strategies on how to build connections both inside and outside your school walls.
