The New York Times summarized a study released by the Pew Research Center, which shows 60 percent of Americans surveyed in the age of 16 through 29 still visited the library. They use libraries mostly to conduct research, borrow print, audio and electronic books. In terms of technology, the study found that 41 percent of readers in this age group read books using a cellphone, 55 percent read from a computer, 23 percent of Americans used an e-reader, and 16 percent used a tablet.
