Every year at the Library Symposium, we like to give local Quebec library personnel the opportunity to see some of the great things that are taking place in our school libraries through poster sessions. Sometimes this could be examples of different types of programming taking place, maybe a great club activity, new ideas on what to do with weeded books… really anything that is being done that could inspire other library personnel.

Would you like to take part in this by presenting a poster session at the symposium? Because we are online this year, there are unlimited spaces available, and we know that your fellow library personnel would really appreciate the chance to learn from what you’ve done.

The theme of the 2022 Library Symposium is: Diverse Readers, Inclusive Libraries. Great inspiration for your poster sessions!

For a quick rundown on what being a poster session presenter is all about and how to prepare, take a look at this QSLiN blog post, written by Raphaella Dixon (LBPSB) for the 2015 Library Symposium:

For the 2022 QSLiN Library Symposium, we will be presenting your posters virtually on Padlet.
A link to the Padlet, with instructions on how to upload your materials, will be emailed to you.
You can upload whatever material you would like to share (basically anything digital): videos, photos, PDFs, slides, etc. You can even use Padlet to make a screen recording where you narrate a previously made slide presentation! Check out all the options here:

Even though you will not be presenting your poster in person, you can still interact with colleagues by using the chat feature on your Padlet poster.

If you would like to take part, please use the contact form below to start the conversation.
