Preparing to Share Books With Readers

Block B Session 11:10 AM – 12:10 PM

How do we promote our library collections? How do we help students discover new favourites? Many times we do it through read-alouds and book talks. This workshop will focus on different approaches and strategies that we use to share books with readers.

Participants will also have the opportunity to use books from the Quebec Reading Connection (QRC) collection to plan book talks or read-aloud sessions.

Come share your extensive knowledge about books and the ways you connect with your students.
