Communication and Collaboration Facilitating Student Success in Secondary School

Block A Session 10:15 – 11:00 AM

We all know that school libraries can increase student success, but how? Creating meaningful partnerships with the educators and administrators in your school is a great way to ensure that the library is implicated in student success. Join Caroll-Ann Case, librarian at Pierrefonds Comprehensive High School, along with her colleagues, educator Alex Leiva and vice-principal Lucia Coretti as they engage in a panel discussion on how they work together to create vibrant and exciting learning opportunities for the students at PCHS. They will share what they have accomplished together, some best practices for collaboration and how the school library continues to play an important role in the lives of PCHS students.
