The Semaine nationale de la francophonie (SNF) will be held from March 3rd to 23rd. Long week and long-time away you may say, but resources are already available if you feel like planning something. The SNF is an initiative of ACELF (Association canadienne de l’éducation de langue française), a pan-Canadian not-for-profit that supports French language education. You might want to take a few minutes to explore the many resources they have to offer.

This link http://www.acelf.ca/semaine-nationale-francophonie/description.php will take you to ACELF’s SNF page. It has lots to offer: a downloadable program, book suggestions en français, educational activities, a calendar of events, but to name a few.

To add to the fun, there are also contests: a chance to win French books if you like the SNF’s Facebook page, a photo contest, FrancoPortraits (to print a poster: http://goo.gl/oWQWqS) , for students of all ages with a great list of prizes; if you have a student or staff member who has done something out of the ordinary to support French culture, nominate them for the Mordicus award (great prizes to be won).

Finally you are encourage to share any events you will be organizing on the ACELF/SNF site and in their social media as well. Partageons ce message!
