Administrators might also find it useful to have articles like this as documentation that they can pass on to parents and school commissioners who might want to know more about LLCs as well.

This particular article is a great introduction to how an LLC works and why a principal might want to collaborate with library personnel and teachers in transforming the traditional school library to a learning commons model. It even gives a quote from the principal.

“I was really looking for this space to become a much more dynamic space,” said ISD Principal Terry Ricci. “The tenets of the learning commons align really well with 21st-century skills and with our International Baccalaureate program. The learning there is now much more powerful.”

Learning Commons Marks New Chapter is a good article to keep in your Library Learning Commons File.
