If you can get your hands on the June 2017 edition of Education Canada, take a few minutes to read the page 42 article, Queer and Trans at School: Where do I fit in? The article focuses on the importance of finding community and belonging for all GLBTQ students regardless of their racial or cultural backgrounds. It stresses that this is not always the fact as we often come at this through a very rigid view of who is gay and what being gay means.
